Instructions

  1. First wash and drain the fresh spinach. Then finely chop the spinach and set aside for the time being.
  2. In the meantime, cut 4 onions into cubes and sauté in the butter in a large saucepan. After a few minutes, add two of the three cloves of garlic, cut into small pieces (not too early because it burns easily). After a few minutes again add the tomato and pepper pulp to the saucepan and briefly toss in the butter with the onions and garlic. Then add the minced meat, which has already been heavily seared, and then the sliced spinach in the pan. Mix everything together well and let the spinach collapse. Now add the rice to the ingredients and add a little water (the rice serves to bind the liquid that comes out of the spinach). But so that nothing really burns, add half a glass to a glass of water. After seasoning, close the pot with a lid and let everything simmer over a low flame for about 20 minutes (the rice should be soft!).
  3. Crush the remaining garlic with a little salt and mix with the yogurt. Pour over the spinach before serving on the plates.
  4. White bread goes well with it.
  5. Tip: If you want, you can add a tomato sauce made of butter, tomato paste, a little water and salt. Looks great and tastes great.
