Salt and pepper the beef fillets or steaks and sear them vigorously on both sides. Take out and put in an ovenproof dish. Deglaze the gravy with a little red wine and stir into the pesto. Spread this on the fillets and sprinkle with the parmesan, pine nuts and a little flakes of butter. Pour approx. 100 ml red wine.
Bake the meat in the oven on the middle rack for 6-8 minutes. Serve hot.
