Instructions

  1. Wash the fruit, cut into small pieces or sort out if necessary and place in a large, flat, fire-proof dish. Sprinkle the fruit with about 50 g of sugar. Place the biscuits on top and drizzle with the amaretto.
  2. Preheat the oven to grill heat.
  3. Cook the custard as directed. In the meantime, separate the 4 eggs. After you have added the pudding powder mixed with milk and sugar to the boiling milk and cooked for one minute as instructed, take the saucepan off the stove and stir in the 4 egg yolks. Then immediately spread the hot pudding evenly over the biscuits.
  4. Beat the 4 egg whites until firm and stir in the remaining sugar. Spread the egg white on the pudding and form mountains and valleys, it looks nicer then.
  5. Place the bowl under the grill and let the meringue turn light yellow in a minute. Let cool in the fridge.
