Heat oil or margarine in a pan. Dice an onion and fry in it. Add garlic pressed through a garlic press and fry. Add the slightly thawed carrot slices and fry for about 10 minutes. Add the chopped peppers and fry for about 5 minutes. Then add the leek and ham and fry for another 5 minutes. Meanwhile, season with salt, lemon pepper, sugar and Café de Paris.
