Ingredients

• 200 ml tomato (s), passed
• 200 ml cola
• 40 ml whiskey
• 40 ml Worcestershire sauce
• 40 ml white wine vinegar
• 40 ml fir honey
• 25 ml sugar beet syrup or maple syrup
• 1 large onion (s)
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 small apple
• 1 teaspoon, heaped smoked salt
• 1 teaspoon, heaped spice mixture
• 1 teaspoon, heaped black pepper
• 1 teaspoon, heaped sugar, brown
• 1 teaspoon curry powder
• 1 teaspoon paprika powder

Instructions

1. Peel and finely dice or chop the onion and garlic. Mix the spice mixture, salt, pepper, curry, paprika and sugar in a bowl.
2. Heat oil in a pot. Add onion cubes and fry lightly. Add the garlic and fry briefly. Add the tomatoes, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and spices and bring to the boil briefly.
3. Stir in the cola and bring to the boil briefly. Set the stove to half heat. Add the whiskey and sugar beet syrup. Let simmer for about 30 minutes.
