Eighth, peel and cut the apples into small cubes. Stone the plums and dice them too.
Bring both to a simmer in a saucepan with rum, apple juice, water and lemon juice. Add allspice, cloves and cinnamon and simmer for about 10 minutes with the lid closed, stirring occasionally. Take the pan off the stove, puree the fruit with the blender and put it back on the stove. Add the preserving sugar, citric acid and vanilla sugar, vanilla oil and bring everything to a boil. Let the jam simmer for at least 4 - 5 minutes while stirring.
Immediately pour the jam into glasses and let cool upside down. This amount is enough for one large and one small glass.
You can also change the proportions of apple and plum, I`ve used the amounts that I still had.
