Make the turkey mince yourself in the meat grinder or use something you bought. Finely dice the onion, cut the mushrooms into slices and dice the cherry tomatoes.
Heat a coated pan, fry the mince without adding any fat, then add the onion cubes and fry briefly. Deglaze with the red wine vinegar, then add the tomato cubes and tomato puree. Deglaze everything with the stock, bring to the boil and simmer covered for about five minutes. Now add the mushrooms and simmer covered for another five minutes.
Remove the lid, stir in the ketchup, mustard and the spices and let simmer open for another 15 minutes over a mild heat. Season everything again as required.
Either as a main course or side dish or serve.
Tips: If you like, you can sprinkle everything with cheese. I like to use hand cheese for this, but there are other options too. You can also serve it as a ragout over zucchini noodles. It also tastes lukewarm and cold.
The low-sugar ketchup is available from discount stores. It is low in carbohydrates and tastes delicious.
