Mix the sugar with the cornstarch and stir into a smooth mass with a few tablespoons of the milk. Bring milk to a boil. Add the scraped pulp of the vanilla pod. Slowly add the cornstarch and sugar mixture to the milk. Stir well and add the whipped cream. Bring to the boil again. It should always be stirred.
Arrange in glasses or bowls.
To prevent skin from forming, cover the pudding with cling film.
When the pudding has cooled down, you can decorate it with a few pieces of strawberry and some whipped cream.
