Instructions

  1. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture thickens. Add milk and rum and continue beating. Then cover the mixture with a cloth and let it cool down in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
  2. Before removing, whip the chilled cream until stiff and add to the rest of the mixture. Stir with the mixer until the mixture is thick and foamy.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for an hour.
  4. When serving, garnish with whipped cream and freshly grated nutmeg if desired.
