Instructions

  1. Roast the oats over a medium heat for about 2 minutes, then add the water, salt and sugar and bring to the boil. Switch back to medium heat and simmer for about 3 minutes. Then let it soak for another 5 minutes on the switched off hotplate.
  2. Don`t be surprised if there is so much liquid in the pot at the beginning. After the swelling process, the porridge is super creamy and has soaked up the excess water.
  3. Meanwhile, dissolve the vanilla pudding powder in 50 ml of the soy milk. Then stir this mixture into the oatmeal and bring to the boil again while stirring, so that the pudding powder can thicken.
  4. Finally, gradually stir in the remaining 150 ml soy milk and bring the pudding oats to the boil one last time. Finally stir in the protein powder. Then remove from the heat, fill into a bowl and top with the warmed cherries and some cherry juice.
