Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  2. Mix the softened butter with sugar, salt and vanilla sugar until frothy, then add one egg yolk at a time. Mix the flour with baking powder, sift over it and stir in, as well as the rum or orange juice. Then add the raisins and finally fold in the egg whites.
  3. Bake in the oven preheated to 175 degrees for about 1 hour.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar.
