Beat margarine, cane sugar and applesauce until frothy, mix tartar baking powder, flour and cinnamon and add. Fold in walnuts and apples. If the batter becomes too firm, thin it with soy milk.
Pour the batter into the wells of a 12-cup muffin pan. The muffins don`t rise that much.
Bake for about 20 minutes.
Dust the muffins with powdered sugar or coat them with couverture.
