Put the oat flakes in a sealable container (screw-top jar, bowl or similar, sufficiently large), along with chopped dates and whole almonds (you can also chop them up if you like).
Pour orange juice over them. Place the grated carrots on top. Put in the fridge overnight.
Stir and enjoy before consumption.
You can also add sliced banana, grated apple, orange pieces, etc.
The idea came to me when I was still harvesting just under 5 kg of carrots before the first frost. I grated them and frozen them - but now they have to go so that I can have space in the freezer again.
