Instructions

  1. Ingredients such as flour, almond milk and nuts as well as sweeteners can be changed according to taste.
  2. For the baked apple sauce:
  3. Wash the 2 apples, cut in half and cut into bite-sized pieces. You can peel the apples beforehand, but I like to leave the peel on. Heat the apple pieces in a saucepan with 70 ml of almond milk, cinnamon, the vanilla extract, agave syrup and a pinch of salt. Then turn the heat down and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the apple pieces are soft. It always takes 15-20 minutes for me.
  4. For the pancake batter:
  5. To make the batter for the pancakes, crush a banana with a fork in a bowl. Add the 200 ml almond milk and mix the two well together. Then add 200 g of spelled flour. It is important that the mixture is homogeneous and not too thin, so depending on the thickness of the dough you can either add more flour or more almond milk to thicken or thin it. There are also vanilla extract, cinnamon, agave syrup and a level teaspoon of baking powder.
  6. Now heat some coke oil in a pan and fry the pancakes for 3 minutes on each side.
  7. Divide the finished pancakes into 2 portions and stack them on 2 plates so that small turrets are created. Pour the warm baked apple sauce over it and serve with a few nuts.
