  1. Put kidney beans from the jar into a colander and drain. Do not rinse. Then mash the beans with a fork, preferably in a deep plate. It doesn`t have to be accurate. Add tomato paste and mustard and mix. Mix in the sesame seeds and diced onion. Season with chilli, oregano, caraway seeds and nutmeg. Depending on the taste, the ingredients can be mixed in more or less - each according to his enjoyment. Add the flour spoon by spoon and mix in until a thick paste is formed. This can vary depending on the type of flour and the amount.
  2. Put the rapeseed oil in a pan and heat it up. Add about 1 - 2 spoons of the mixture with a tablespoon and shape into a thin patty in the pan. Turn after 2 - 3 minutes. It is best to add more oil for each patty. Place on a plate with kitchen paper and let drain briefly.
  3. Consume pure, on bread or as a burger with cucumber and lettuce, as required.
  4. By the way, you can also enjoy the mixture pure without flour as a spread. You are welcome to experiment with other spices.
