Clean the vegetables, dice and fry separately. Then put everything in a large saucepan and simmer on low heat for 90 minutes. Finally, season with salt, pepper and sugar and fill into glasses while still hot and close immediately. This salad will keep for several months if stored in a cool and dark place.
The salad tastes good with pan-fried food or just like that on a slice of fresh white bread. I like it best when it`s nicely chilled and I think it tastes like summer in glasses.
