Instructions

  1. Chop the tomatoes and onions very finely, sprinkle with salt and leave to stand overnight.
  2. Squeeze the vegetables out the next day. Add the dates, vinegar and sugar, bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes. Mix in the flour with all the spices and let simmer for the last 10 minutes.
  3. Immediately pour the finished sauce into jars, close the jars and let stand upside down for 5 minutes.
  4. Goes very well with snacks and meat. Just try! And a great opportunity to use the still green tomatoes on the bush at the end of the tomato season.
