Wash, cut and cook the carrots and leek. Wash, core and finely dice the bell pepper. Peel and press the garlic. Coarsely puree the leek, carrots and bell pepper. Mix in the herbs, garlic and salt. If you like, some more turmeric. Thicken with as much flour as necessary. The dough should stick together if it falls from your hand. Similar to minced meat fritters. Season to taste with salt, pepper and chilli.
Now shape sticks, turn them in whole grain crumbs and let the fat get very hot in a pan. Then fry the chopsticks well on all 4 long sides. This takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
