Instructions

  1. For the tzatziki, grate the cucumber as finely as possible and pour off the resulting water. Now mix with the yoghurt and sour cream and press the 4 cloves of garlic and add. Then stir everything and season with salt and pepper to taste. In order to achieve an optimal taste, it is best to leave it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  2. For the gyros, pour boiling water over the soy slices in a bowl and add 4 tablespoons of vegetable stock. Stir and let soak for about 10 minutes. Then drain the soy strips and squeeze out as much water as possible. Then fry in olive oil. When the soy shreds are well browned, add the soy sauce. Now turn the stove down to medium heat, add the onions and fry everything crispy.
  3. Add the spices and herbs according to taste and season to taste.
  4. It is best served with rice and salad.
