Instructions

  1. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Chop the almonds and Gouda cheese. I do this in a moulinette, but I can certainly use a mixer or something similar.
  2. Mix the raw onions and garlic with the Gouda cheese and almonds. Add the breadcrumbs, herbs, eggs and soy sauce and knead everything together well. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls and let them simmer in the vegetable stock for 6 minutes.
  3. Take the Köttbullar out of the broth with a slotted ladle and fry it in a pan with butter for a few minutes until crispy.
  4. I made a vegetable sauce with carrots, celery, onions, white wine and cream and served it with mashed potatoes.
  5. You should definitely make a sauce, otherwise it is a little too dry.
