Instructions

  1. Chop the onions and garlic and sauté briefly in oil. Add the beans and pour the water over them until the beans are covered.
  2. For a better taste, add the savory uncut (so that it can be better removed before consumption). Add salt and simmer on low heat for about 30-45 minutes.
  3. At the same time, dice the potatoes and simmer in an extra pot for about 15 minutes. When the beans are firm to the bite, as desired, season the stew with pepper, vinegar, sugar and lovage.
