This recipe was my brother and I`s favorite food when we were little. Today our children love it, and we still do too.
It`s very easy and quick and is totally inexpensive!
Cut the onion into small cubes and sauté in a saucepan or pan. Then melt the butter and gradually stir in the flour with a whisk so that there are no lumps. Add the milk in portions until the roux has a thick consistency. Stir in the tomatoes, squeeze in the garlic and add the meat sausage cut into small cubes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, basil, oregano and a pinch of sugar. Don`t save with the salt!
Add the pasta of your choice, I recommend spirelli or macaroni. Grandma used to have fork spaghetti.
