Stir the butter until foamy, then add the egg and season the mixture with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste. Then alternately stir in semolina and milk and let the finished mixture rest for half an hour.
Then cut out dumplings with a small spoon and place in the boiling soup. Let it boil for 15 minutes, then turn off the stove and let it stand for another 15 minutes, covered.
