- Make a mash from the cleaned and washed berries and let everything boil for at least 10 minutes and then add the sugar right away.
- This is how a syrup is made and then everything is squeezed out through a cheesecloth in a sieve. That can then be bottled or cooked thick, whatever.
- When the syrup has cooled down, add a bottle (0.7l) of white rum or another white rum and let it steep at least overnight.
- Since the sea buckthorn has a specific acidity, you don`t need any additional ingredients.
- The liqueur is very healthy and can also be made as a syrup without alcohol, as I mentioned above.
