Instructions

  1. Knock the roast lightly, season with salt and pepper and fry briefly in hot fat. Add the root meat cut into fine strips - roast a little - and pour red wine and clear beef soup on top. Add the spice sachet and steam the roast beef until soft. Finish with sour cream and lingonberries and serve with Waldviertel potato dumplings.
  2. The Waldviertel is located in the north-west of Lower Austria on the border with the Czech Republic.
