Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with the sugar until frothy. Add eggs, vanilla sugar, salt and rum baking. Melt the chocolate over the water bath, stir in and stir in the sifted flour mixed with baking powder. Roughly chop the candied walnuts and fold them into the batter (I make candied walnuts myself by melting 1-2 tablespoons of sugar in the pan, mixing in the walnuts and letting the mixture cool).
  2. Grease a baking sheet and apply the dough to a size of 30 x 40 cm (delimit with a baking frame or with aluminum foil). Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 35 minutes. Cut into pieces of approx. 2 x 5 cm and allow to cool.
  3. Melt the couverture, cover the cookies with it and press the half walnuts into the still moist chocolate.
