Put the apple compote in a bowl. Roughly chop whale or macadamia nuts. Add the almonds, nuts, gingerbread spices and season with cinnamon and vanilla sugar. Before serving, heat in the microwave or water bath and cover with Cremefine Vanilla.
If you like, you can also add a tablespoon of calvados or amaretto to the apple mixture, but then the mixture should sit for at least 3 hours.
