Instructions

  1. First, the watermelon is cut into even cubes. Existing cores must be removed. About a handful of melon cubes per serving is arranged on a plate. Then about 50 g feta is crumbled over it.
  2. The chilli peppers (e.g. small red Thai peppers) are chopped up and mixed with the oil, left to stand for a moment, stirred again and then poured 1-2 tablespoons over the melons and feta. Pre-prepared chilli oil is also perfect for this dish.
  3. The taste of this dish stands or falls with the quality of the melon and the feta. The dish lives from the contrast, from the fruity, refreshing watermelon, the salty, creamy cheese and the spiciness of the chilli.
