Instructions

  1. Divide the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and wash very well. Put aside. Cut the watermelon and bell peppers into pieces about 2 x 2 cm. Dice the feta cheese as well.
  2. Finely chop the onion, finely chop the herbs and put both in a large salad bowl. Now add the vinegar, oil and mustard and mix well. First add the melon, then the peppers and then the feta cheese.
  3. Put the butter in a small pan and let it melt, add the cashew nuts and sugar. Stir constantly. If the sugar turns lightly brown, add the cream and remove from the heat. Let cool down briefly and add to the salad. Mix everything well.
  4. Finally, just before serving, add the lettuce and mix thoroughly again just before eating. That way the salad stays nice and crisp.
