Instructions

  1. Heat the lard in a saucepan, sweat the onions until translucent, pour in the cabbage and apple sticks in layers and add the spices.
  2. Pour 250 ml of water and bring to the boil. Cover the pot and cook the cabbage over low heat for 30-40 minutes. 10 minutes before finishing, rub the peeled potato on the cabbage and stir. Season again to taste. Serve with roast pork, meatballs and boiled potatoes.
