Instructions

  1. The wheat groats are briefly washed with cold water. Then it is sprinkled with salt in the bowl and soaked with warm water (approx. 1 1/2 times the amount). Stir with a wooden spoon until everything is well mixed, then leave to soak for 10 minutes.
  2. Roast the finely chopped onion, the chopped garlic cloves, the dried mint, the spicy paprika pulp and the tomato paste in a pan with oil, then add to the soaked groats and mix well. Then add the pomegranate juice, lemon juice and spices and mix again. Chop the spring onion, fresh mint and parsley into small pieces, add to the wheat groats mixture, stir and season with salt.
  3. Roll 2 - 3 tablespoons of wheat groats salad into the lettuce leaves, but it also tastes so good.
