Instructions

  1. Cook the tender wheat according to the instructions on the packet and drain.
  2. During the cooking time, cut the pollack fillets into pieces and drizzle with lemon juice. Then salt and fry in hot olive oil - if you don`t want it to disintegrate, take it out before adding the vegetables.
  3. Now add the vegetables and fry them. Add tomato paste as required and fry briefly. Then add the chopped tomatoes and bring to the boil. Now add the tender wheat and - if removed beforehand - fold in the fish again. Season to taste with the spices and possibly some broth.
  4. Tips: If you can`t tolerate wheat, you can also use brown rice instead. The dish also goes well with onion or garlic.
  5. The fish can also be left out for vegetarians.
