Clean, wash and quarter the white cabbage and remove the stalk. Cut the cabbage into thin strips. Knead well with about 1 tablespoon of salt. Peel, wash and cut the carrots into sticks. Peel the onion and chop finely.
Mix together the yogurt, salad cream and lemon juice. Season to taste with pepper and sugar. Mix the cabbage, carrots and onions with the dressing. Cover and leave to stand in the refrigerator (covered) for at least 2 hours. Season the salad again to taste.
