Instructions

  1. Clean the white cabbage, cut into eighths and cut into small pieces. Roughly dice the onion, clean the carrots and cut into slices.
  2. Now fry the onion in hot oil in a large saucepan, add the cabbage and fry briefly. Add the carrots, stir in the mustard and tomato paste and sauté.
  3. Add approx. 1/4 l vegetable stock and simmer with the lid closed for approx. 15 - 20 minutes (until the vegetables are almost cooked). Then season heartily with salt, pepper, garlic (fresh or granules) and stir in the cream. Let it steep a little more and then serve with a generous dollop of creme fraîche or sour cream. It tastes delicious even when warmed up and is great for freezing.
  4. WW-suitable without cream and sour cream. Great for a food combining because it is free of carbohydrates and proteins! And even vegan if you use soy cream.
