Instructions

  1. Separate eggs, beat egg whites into snow (add a pinch of salt if necessary). Stir the yolks until foamy and gradually add the oil, maple syrup and rum. Fold in whole wheat flour and baking powder, or stretch with a little water if the dough is too firm. Carefully fold in the egg whites and pour into a cake tin or tray.
  2. Top with fruit, which then automatically sinks into the dough while baking. Sprinkle with cinnamon, nuts and flaked almonds.
  3. Bake for about 50 minutes at 180 ° C.
  4. The cake is wonderfully fluffy, quick to prepare and always succeeds.
