Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
  2. Melt the chocolate with the butter in a double boiler. Then set the bowl on its side to cool. Now stir the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Then add the melted chocolate and butter mixture and stir. Now mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt and stir in quickly, but still so that everything is connected.
  3. Now place a heaped tablespoon of the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. But there has to be a gap of 3-4cm between the biscuits, because they are still wider. The dough makes about 36 individual biscuits or 18 whoopie pies. In total, this results in 2 sheets full. Now the biscuits are baked in the oven for about 8 minutes. But that depends on the size of the biscuits. The biscuits are ready when they are still soft in the middle.
  4. When the whoopie pies are in the oven, the filling is touched. To do this, stir the cream cheese until creamy. Then add powdered sugar and butter and mix everything together. Now add the oreo chocolate chips and stir in. Now chill the filling for about 10 minutes.
  5. Let the biscuits cool down. Then look for 2 pieces that are roughly the same size. Spread the filling on one half with a spoon or a piping nozzle and then place the other half on top. If you want, you can now sprinkle the whoopie pies with powdered sugar.
