Put the schnapps with the vanilla pods cut lengthways and the vanilla flavor in a sufficiently large vessel with a wide opening and an airtight seal (2.5 to 3 liters). This is then left to infuse for 3 days. Then the wild berries are added frozen.
The batch is now placed in a dark, cool place for 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks the sugar is added.
The batch is then left to draw for a further 3.5 weeks. The batch should be shaken regularly until the sugar has completely dissolved. Normal refined sugar dissolves much faster and tastes great too.
After a total of 5 to 6 weeks, the liqueur can be filtered and bottled.
