Instructions

  1. Cut open the top of the watermelon and hollow it out completely and place about a third of the pulp mass in a bowl. Be careful: do not destroy the melon, you still need it.
  2. Cut the remaining meat mixture into smaller pieces and, if possible, place in a large bowl. Now squeeze the part of the mass that you cut out with your hands. Be careful, this releases a lot of juice. Put this juice through a sieve into the other bowl with the bite-sized bites. Quarter the honeydew melon and cut small pieces of fruit out of two quarters and put them in the bowl.
  3. Now add 1 liter of white wine to the pieces of fruit. Now add about half a bottle of Malibu and then about 250 ml of Bacardi Superior Rum or another white rum. If you don`t want the punch to be too strong, you can leave out the rum. Season the whole thing with a little lemon juice and the cane sugar. I also have passion fruit syrup in it, but it doesn`t have to be. Finally, cut the lime into eighths and add to the bowl. Then put the lid on and put it in the fridge overnight so that the whole thing goes through nicely.

  5. Take a ladle and scoop the liquid into the melon until it is about half full. Then add her Sprite and Prosecco until the melon is full. If you like, you can now add ice cubes so that it is nice and cold.
  6. The whole thing is then drunk directly from the melon with straws.
