Squeeze enough oranges and lemons to get the required amount of juice. I have not given a number of fruits, as the juice yield varies greatly depending on the fruits. If you don`t want the pulp, pour the juice through a fine sieve.
Then put the juice in a large saucepan and add the sugar, vanilla sugar and the clove powder. Then fill up with water. Now bring the liquid to a boil. Then reduce the heat by half and simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat, fill into sealable bottles and let cool down.
The lemonade will keep in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
For serving, the lemonade is diluted with carbonated mineral water. We like the mixing ratio of 1 part lemonade concentrate 2 parts mineral water best.
