Instructions

  1. So first boil the eggs hard.
  2. In the meantime, cut the onion into small pieces and mix together with the minced meat, egg yolk and some of the breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper. You can also add garlic and / or herbs to vary. Mix the ingredients well - it`s best done with your hands. Divide the mass into two equal parts.
  3. Place part of the mixture on the work surface sprinkled with breadcrumbs and flatten it into an oval (approx. 1 - 1.5 cm thick). Peel three eggs and place them in the middle of the mixture. Beat the eggs with the mixture so that the eggs are completely covered - otherwise the wrong bunny will fall apart while frying. Do the same with the other part of the mixture and the eggs.
  4. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the false bunny all over. Reduce the heat and finish cooking at a low temperature (approx. 20 minutes).
  5. It can be eaten warm or sliced cold.
  6. Now all that`s missing is some fresh bread and the wrong hare won`t survive the day.
