Instructions

  1. The thin sheets of yufka dough are pulled apart, individually spread out on a surface and then brushed with cold water. Then place the sheets of dough, slightly overlapping, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or on a pizza tray. (Attention: the damp plates must be on the sheet quickly, otherwise they will become too soft and tear!).
  2. Now the dough is spread thinly with crème fraiche. Finally, distribute the thinly sliced Munster cheese on the dough. The tarte flambée is now in the very hot oven (250 ° C) and is ready in no time (5 - 10 minutes).
  3. Variations: If you want, you can use crème fraîche with herbs and / or add bacon cubes and / or thin onion rings on the dough.
  4. Depending on the type of cheese used, the tarte flambée can be sprinkled with salt and freshly ground pepper before serving. A fresh salad goes best with it.
