First you let the frozen strawberries thaw briefly (caution: the strawberries must not thaw completely, as this will change the consistency of the liqueur). The strawberries are then finely pureed with a hand blender.
Put the 300 ml of water in a saucepan and heat it up. Now the 200 g of sugar are dissolved in the warm water. First you add the cooled sugar water and the entire contents of a vodka bottle (0.75 l) to the pureed strawberries. Everything is now carefully mixed. Finally, the liqueur is seasoned with a little lemon juice.
This recipe makes about 2 - 3 liters of the delicious XuXu. You can drink it from a pin or as a long drink or cocktail.
