Instructions

  1. Make a well in the flour, mix the yeast with the sugar and the lukewarm milk, cover a little with flour and cover and let rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes.
  2. Then add the 2 eggs and slowly stir in the lukewarm milk in which the butter was melted until the dough becomes viscous. Then cover the dough and let rise again for about 30 minutes, until the amount of dough has doubled.
  3. Now add the peeled, sliced apples to the yeast dough (cut the apples into sticks). Fold in the apples so that they are evenly distributed.
  4. Now set up the pan and cover the bottom with oil. Use two spoons to lift an amount of dough out of the bowl, place in the pan and press flat. The cakes are now baked golden yellow on both sides. The temperature should not be so high, otherwise they will burn on the outside and are still raw on the inside. They rise in the pan and when both sides are browned, take them out and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, it can also be powdered sugar.
  5. A delicious alternative to normal pancakes. An absolute hit with vanilla ice cream.
