Halve the zucchini evenly lengthways, scoop out the inside with a small spoon, leave a small edge at the bottom and to the side. Put the inside in a bowl. Cut a lid off the tomatoes, also hollow out and add.
Add mozzarella, garlic and, if desired, the bacon to the zucchini mixture and do not puree too finely with the magic wand. Stir in the spices and pour the mixture into the courgette boats and tomatoes. Put the whole thing in a baking dish and bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes (the temperature / cooking time may vary depending on the oven). Then put the hard cheese, roughly chopped, over the boat and tomatoes and bake again until the whole thing turns brown.
