Clean the zucchini, grate coarsely. Mix the flour with baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and nuts.
Mix the eggs with the oil and the sugar in a bowl with the whisk of the hand mixer until frothy. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Fold in the zucchini and chocolate chips.
Pour the dough into a loaf pan (30 cm) that has been greased and sprinkled with breadcrumbs and put in the hot oven. Bake in the lower third of the oven for about 60-70 minutes.
When the cake is ready, let it cool down in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack and let it cool down completely. Melt the chocolate icing according to the instructions on the packet and spread it over the cake.
Tip:
The cake is also tasty with ground almonds. If you don`t have any chocolate chips at home, you can of course also take a bar of chocolate and chop it into small pieces.
