Instructions

  1. This recipe is so simple and so delicious: Cut the zucchini (ideally it is at least 10 cm in diameter) into approx. 5 mm thick slices. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese between each 2 slices of zucchini. I always cut out ham and cheese with a large round cookie cutter, but it doesn`t have to be. The main thing is that it doesn`t stick out too much. You don`t have to fix it with a toothpick or the like, the panes hold together so well. Then season the finished cordon bleus with a little salt and pepper and bread them. Turn first in flour, then in beaten egg and finally in breadcrumbs. Heat the clarified butter in a pan and fry the zucchini cordon bleus on both sides until crispy until golden brown.
  2. We also have rosemary potatoes and salad, but carrot vegetables or potato salad also go well. Also tastes delicious as a starter with a small leaf salad!
  3. The amount of ham and cheese depends on the number and size of the zucchini slices.
