Put the flour, salt and sunflower seeds in a large mixing bowl. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water and add. Then stir everything together until a sticky dough is formed.
Line a loaf pan with baking paper and pour in the dough. If desired, grains can now be sprinkled on the surface of the bread.
Place the tin on a rack in the cold oven (lower rail). Fill another baking sheet or casserole dish with a little water and place it under the grid on the bottom of the oven.
Set the oven to 190 degrees top and bottom heat and bake the bread for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Then take it out of the oven, remove the loaf pan and let it cool on a rack.
