Instructions

  1. Drain the peaches, then cut into small pieces. Pour amaretto over the amarettini in a bowl and allow to swell. Whip the cream until stiff.
  2. Mix the crème fraîche with the quark, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth. Carefully fold in the soaked amarettini. Finally fold in the whipped cream.
  3. Pour part of the cream into glasses, spread a layer of peaches on top of each other and cover them again with a layer of cream. Put the glasses in the fridge for about 2 hours.
  4. Garnish the dessert with amarettini and chopped pistachios, or with pieces of peach and pistachios.
  5. Variants: If you want to leave out the amaretto, you can also take some of the peach juice to soak the amarettini and dilute it with water (otherwise too sweet).
  6. Instead of the peaches you can also use 100 g fresh raspberries. Then you replace the amaretto for the alcohol-free version with orange juice.
