• 500 g strawberries, (cleaned)
• 300 g suar
• 1 packet vanilla sugar
• 80 g cornstarch
• 1 liter water
• 6 cl syrup, (strawberry syrup)

Instructions

1. Clean the 500g strawberries. Set 100g aside and cut the remaining strawberries into pieces.
2. Puree the 100g strawberries you set aside.
3. In a large pot, bring 1 liter water, 300g sugar, and 1 packet vanilla sugar to a boil over medium-high heat.
4. In a bowl, dissolve 80g cornstarch in roughly 3-4 tablespoons cold water until smooth. Stir in 6 cl strawberry syrup.
5. Once the water is boiling, slowly pour the cornstarch mixture into the pot while stirring constantly. Continue stirring until the mixture thickens.
6. Stir in the strawberry puree and the strawberry pieces.
7. Pour the mixture into dessert glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
