Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the oil, brown sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the pickled silver onions and vinegar, and simmer for 4-6 minutes until the onions turn translucent brown.
  3. Remove from heat. Serve hot or let cool to room temperature and serve cold.
